„Collaged sites: between AGGLO and assemblage“ – Panel discussion, 19.03.2026, feldfünf in Metropolenhaus

What do Fresh Kill New York and the former Berlin wall have in common?
How to shift the agency of architecture, landscape architecture and urban design?

Framed by a three-day workshop “RE-ENTERING: FRESH / KILLS – Working with Assemblage in the Anthropocene” by ÉLAN Chair der TU Berlin, a pop-up exhibition on March 19th, 2026 investigates the human-made landscape of New York City’s former landfill site Freshkills and its integration into Staten Island neighborhoods.

As part of the exhibition, the research project „How do we AGGLO?“, led by bfstudio-architekten, was presented.
Benita Braun-Feldweg participated in the panel discussion, engaging in an open dialogue on linking AGGLO to Assemblage, from Berlin to New York, and exploring perspectives on how to co-create the city today.
